I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws The Doctor. Here’s my plan for this week: make Jojo draw as many versions of The Doctor, from Doctor Who, as possible. In case you don’t know, Doctor Who’s protagonist is a time traveling alien who can regenerate into a new body instead of dying (pretty much just a clever way to recast the actor). Eleven actors have played The Doctor and they have each had their own look and personality. I don’t think Jojo will be able to remember anywhere near eleven of them, I’m hoping for four. I assumed the first one she’d do would either be David Tennant or Tom Baker. Jojo of course outdid herself by drawing Tennant, wearing Baker’s scarf. She also got his Sonic Screwdriver, or as she called it, “His stick-thing”. I don’t know why the scarf is bunching up like that, instead of just falling to the floor. Perhaps it’s made of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
