I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws Rocket Raccoon. Last week, Jojo and I played Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, so Jojo has now been exposed to the characters from that game. This week, she’ll be drawing those characters. Let’s see what she’s retained! This Rocket Raccoon drawing is certainly going in the right direction. She drew an angry raccoon wearing a military jacket. She didn’t remember the details of his Guardians of the Galaxy uniform and just drew a generic looking jacket, but that’s fine. She also didn’t give him any guns but, given what happens what Jojo draws guns, maybe that’s for the best, Tomorrow Jojo will draw someone else from the game. Maybe M.O.D.O.K.
