I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws Goku! As promised, this week will be all Dragon Ball characters. What I’m going to do is ask Jojo to keep drawing people she remembers from Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, until she can’t think of anymore, rather than tell her their names. I’m very confident in saying that what she drew today is adult Goku. I suppose it could be Gohan, since they look almost exactly the same, but this hair looks more like Goku. This is fairly accurate, she certainly got the right idea. His outfit is supposed to be two layers, with the red over the blue. Also, adult Goku doesn’t have the circle symbol on his chest, she’s thinking of young Goku. The only disappointment is that Jojo normally adds extra lumpy muscles to her heroes, but the DBZ characters are so lumpy already, that the way Jojo draws everyone, actually works for them.
