I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws Hawkeye! Thus, we conclude our week of Jojo drawing The Avengers from memory. I think we saved the best for last. I don’t even know what to say here. I’m at a loss for words. I’ll give Jojo points for knowing that Hawkeye fights with a bow and arrow, and I suppose that haircut looks like movieverse Hawkeye. Apparently Jojo felt Hawkeye should have a super power. She also decided that super power was to pull living hawks out of his eye, and use them as arrows. That’s literally insane. The only thing I’ll say is that there is a tragedy here today. You see, Jojo loves coloring characters purple. Drawing purple characters is her favorite thing. She gets sad when she finds out someone is supposed to be purple, but she didn’t know that and missed her chance. And so it is with a heavy heart that I reveal to Jojo what Hawkeye is supposed to look like: I’m sorry.
