I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws Gwen Stacy. This concludes our week of Spider-Man supporting characters. It’s been a tough week, trying to think of members of Spider-Man’s cast, that Jojo had heard of. We’d run out of currently living people and today was just matter of whether to draw Uncle Ben lying shot on the ground, or Gwen Stacy falling off a bridge. Falling lady it is! This drawing is very accurate, besides leaving off Gwen’s long jacket and big black boots. The only really notable thing here is that Jojo has accidentally taken a side in an old debate. See, no one really knows if Spider-Man accidentally snapped Gwen’s neck when he caught her, or if she was already dead when Green Goblin threw her from the bridge. Jojo, however, has drawn her with little “x”s for eyes, before Spidey’s webbing has reached her. You hear that, Green Goblin? Jojo says you did it!
