I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws Scarlet Witch This week I’m having Jojo draw Avengers who I’d like to see in Avengers 2. First up is Scarlet Witch, Magneto’s daughter turned Avenger turned villain turned Avenger again turned villain again turned whatever she is now. I didn’t expect Jojo to get Wanda’s weird headdress, and I figured she’d draw her more like a normal witch. I DID think she’d draw more red, but Jojo said in the movie they make them all wear black. I guess she has a point. She also gave her a beaker, to carry her witch’s brew around in. The best part came when I told her that Scarlet Witch was Magneto’s daughter. Me: Yeah, she fought the X-Men, then joined the Avengers. Jojo: X-Men? Are the Avengers Marvel? Me: Yeah. How could you not know that? Jojo: I only know Who’s Marvel from Marvel vs. Capcom. Me: But Captain America is in that. Jojo: Oh yeah.
