I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws Wonder Man! This week I’m asking Jojo to draw Avengers who were not in the movie. I don’t know what I expected her to draw for Wonder Man. I should have expected this. Wonder Man was an Avengers villain who joined the team (Avengers and Dragon Ball Z both feature a ton of reformed villains). There’s also a brother involved, and an android with his brain patterns… then he died and came back to life as an “ionic being”… or something. I’ll always know him as the super hero movie star who hung out with Beast. Anyway, Jojo didn’t know any of that and just drew him in Wonder Woman’s costume. Which is totally fair. Looking good Simon.
