I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.
At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.
As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

When we started this blog, almost a year ago, I’d hoped that by exposing Jojo to more super heroes, she would start to like them. Or at least understand why I like them.
That hasn’t happened. But Jojo is a very big fan of Captain America’s butt, so that’s good enough. I guess.
I’d also like to point out that, even thought she’s drawn him a few times, this is the first time Jojo has ever drawn Cap’s shield.
Don’t worry, she got the colors wrong.
Today Jojo draws Captain America’s Butt.
I went to see Avengers at midnight last night, and I dragged Jojo with me! It took a lot of badgering and a big bottle of vodka, but she agreed to come to the movie.
I liked the movie a lot. without spoiling anything, I’ll just say it’s great and reminded me of J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, in all good ways.
I asked Jojo what she liked about the movie and she said:
“Um… I think I fell asleep for a while. What was that cube and why did a man come out of it?
Oh wait, I liked Captain America’s butt. That was good.”
So now I present to you, Jojo watching the only part of Avengers that Jojo remembers or likes. Keep in mind, there’s vodka in that soda cup.
It is a very patriotic butt, I’ll give her that.
