I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws The Lizard. I wanted to see Jojo’s take on Spidey’s latest movie antagonist. I didn’t like how he looked in the movie and I was hoping Jojo could improve him. SHE TOTALLY DID! I told her he was a scientist who became a lizard-man, and even though there’s few ways to get that wrong, she’s surprised us before. This one is great though. I love how thoughtful he looks, and that he’s little fat. Perfect. He should team up with Jojo’s (much less accurate) Doctor Octopus.
