I'm a writer. I read a lot of comics. My friend Jojo is an artist. She doesn't read any comics.

At lunch, she draws super heroes from memory. Her memory is not always very good.

As you look at these drawings, I can not stress enough that Jojo is a professional artist, and a full grown woman. It's important to remember that.

Today Jojo draws Rip Hunter, Time Master! This week, Jojo is drawing offspring of super heroes. Today we get Booster Gold’s son from the future, Rip Hunter the Time Master. First off, let me explain what happened. Jojo “famously” believes that Booster Gold sounds like a brand of beer and, of course, that’s how she drew him. When I asked her to draw Booster’s son, I honestly expected her to draw a can of Booster Gold Light. She didn’t though. Rip’s beer can reflects his position as a time master and his individuality from his father. By that, I mean he’s wearing a baseball cap instead of a football helmet. Rip Hunter probably likes baseball, right? The only thing wrong with this drawing is that Rip doesn’t wear a cape. If you have any more suggestions for heroes’ kids, make sure to let us know!
